Brrr. Yeah, I know--it's definitely getting colder outside. However, this makes it one of the best times to visit the Rose City Farmer's Market, which resumes this Saturday morning in downtown Tyler. In fact, you can just about count on some seasonal treats and fall produce offerings to make it feel extra special. In fact, this is one of my favorite times to go!

The East Texas grown produce and artisanal pastries will be available this Saturday, November 2, starting at 8 a.m. What can you find? A plethora of locally and sustainably-grown produce, grass fed meats and yard eggs, from-scratch pies and pastries, local honey, jams and jellies, and so much more. Head to downtown Tyler at 302 S. Broadway Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.

In addition to the delightful food offerings, you can find locally roasted coffee, soaps and body lotions, and fresh cut flowers. Bring the family and peruse to your heart's content while enjoying the live music provided by local East Texas artists.

Also, they are always looking for volunteers to help with this much loved endeavor. If you'd like to give your time and/or expertise, be sure to reach out to them via their Facebook page.

See you at the market!
