Not every farmer's market offers tomatoes, cantaloupe, AND Fresh Mexican Mint Marigolds. The East Texas State Fair Farmers' Market is open for two more weekends, and then it will close for the season.
If you've grown to love perusing the Rose City Farmers' Market and have been somewhat bummed by the coming seasonal hiatus, prepare to be as excited as I am.
You can just about count on some seasonal treats and fall produce offerings to make it feel extra special. In fact, this is one of my favorite times to go!
What can you find? Locally and sustainably-grown produce, grass fed meats and yard eggs, from-scratch pies/pastries, local honey, jams and jellies, and more.
The Rose City Farmers' Market will be back with sustainably-grown produce, grass fed meats and yard eggs, from-scratch pies and pastries, local honey, and more!
