‘Bossart Bark Park’ Celebrating One Year June 8–Bring Your Pups!
It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since the SPCA of East Texas' Bossart Bark Park was made manifest in Tyler, much to the joy of our canine citizens all around East Texas. This 8-acre community park was created specifically as a place for dogs and humans alike to spend time together in beautiful setting. Even if you don't have a dog, simply being at the Bossart Bark Park will inspire you to contemplate the idea.
It's a special place to be anytime and you should check it out. However, you'll especially want to consider attending the Bossart Bark Park 'First Birthday Party,' June 8 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Bring your dogs (up to three per person) and head over to 3393 West Grande Boulevard in Tyler.
In addition to the general park fun available daily from 7 a.m. until dusk, during these three hours enjoy coffee and pastries, meet other animal lovers and adoptable dogs, learn more about the SPCA of East Texas and how you can get involved--as well as some of their future plans.
Check out more details on the event and read about the park rules here.
Maybe I'll see you there. I have a feeling I'll be contemplating an adoption myself.
