Hey East Texas: Throw An Axe To Help The Animals
As much as I would love to easily channel my inner Xena, Warrior Princess, the truth is the idea of throwing an axe initially makes me feel a touch nervy. So the first time I heard about Pumpjaxe Urban Axe Throwing setting up shop in Tyler, I thought it was unbelievably cool, and most likely something I would sit back and watch...nervously. ;)
But you how much I love animals, and when I heard they were holding the 'Axes Fur Animals' Tournament to benefit the SPCA of East Texas, I began summoning my inner courage to consider wielding an axe after all. The tournament is taking place on September 21 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their location at 15902 County Road 165, Suite C. Pumpjaxe will be donating HALF of the proceeds to the SPCA of East Texas!
Wanna consider participating but aren't sure of your skills? No worries. There will be a practice lane available that day, as well.
On top of that, Pumpjaxe is doing a drawing for a $50 gift card. Anyone who brings a donation, whether toys, food, etc., will be entered to win.
