An Open Letter to Pizza King in Longview, Texas from People in Tyler
When it comes to pizza in East Texas, we've got so many fantastic options. However one of my VERY favorite personal favorites is definitely Pizza King in Longview, Texas.
Now I'm thankful it's not a far drive to Longview. I visit regularly for different reasons and I love being there. Almost always suggest to whoever may be with me that we go to Pizza King if at all possible. And hearing that construction on their new 4th Street Pizza King TO-GO location is going well makes me very happy for them and for all of my fellow Pizza King lovers.
At the same time, I confess: I'm really, really jealous.
Look, I know there are great pizza places all around ETX. And I adore how each of them has their own signature way they make America's favorite food. At the same time, I find myself getting really intense cravings for Pizza King on days when I can't find a way to drive over to Longview. And so... if I may be so bold and ask...
Dear Pizza King owners,
Please consider building one in Tyler, Texas. Please? Like...pretty please?
I'm not too proud to beg. ;)
OK, OK in the meantime, we just want to say CONGRATS on your new place. AND if you know someone looking for a gig, Pizza King is currently taking applications for their new place. Wanna learn more? Check out the details and some of the construction photos if you're interested here. They're projecting to be open by mid-May, if all goes well.
