Grammy Winning Hip Hop Star Parks Mysterious Container In Tyler
Social media started buzzing when Grammy winning hip hop star Tyler The Creator announced that he would be dropping a new album on Oct. 28th and for some reason East Texas has become a part of the album's rollout.
If you're not familiar with Tyler The Creator, let's get you up to speed. Born Tyler Gregory Okonma, he is one of the most innovative and multifaceted artists in modern hip-hop. Emerging from the alternative rap collective Odd Future in the late 2000s, Tyler quickly gained attention for his raw, rebellious style, blending provocative lyrics with boundary-pushing production.
The New Album Is Titled "Chromakopia".
He kicked off this latest album rollout that fans have been clamoring for by sharing a snippet of a new song and music video on YouTube which is already received over 4 million views in 48 hours.
As you see towards the end of the clip, the characters are marching into a container marked "Chromakopia" before it is blown up. That makes it even more interesting that 2 similar containers were spotted in East Texas on Friday.
They Were First Spotted In Lindale.
Eagle eyed social media users began sending out photos of the containers while they were parked in what appeared to be a truck stop. Then one of the trucks pulled up and parked next to the Tyler Public Library and fans scrambled to the location to see it and take pictures of it.
According to artists website promoting the album, the "CHROMAKOPIA Trucking Company" has geotagged two trucks to Tyler, TX. Its unknown what's going to happen next but fans are flocking to the Rose City to see what's up.
We pulled up to see what the fuss was about and we saw fans literally hanging around waiting to see what would happen and a few brave souls "knocked" on the container to see if anyone was in there.
