Fireworks And 11 More Events Happening In East Texas This Weekend
Fireworks, cookouts, family, friends, and good times are on the agenda for this weekend as we continue to celebrate the 4th of July. With the 4th falling on a Thursday hopefully, it gives you an extended four-day weekend. If not, then hopefully an extra day off during the week!
We'll be celebrating all weekend long by hanging out poolside or at the lake with friends and family, grilling up some hot dogs and burgers, cooling down with homemade ice cream, and then shooting off some fireworks when it gets dark enough.
When it comes to shooting off fireworks please be careful and never hold fireworks in your hands or look directly into a spent tube, it could still go off. Be mindful of dead storm debris, one spark could turn into a fire, and make sure you have a water source or fire extinguisher close by to put out any accidental fire quickly.
While gathering with friends and family and having a good time, please remember to NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. Be responsible and arrange a way home safely.
Here's a look at this weekend's event happening across East Texas.
