In East Texas, fast food restaurants rule the landscape! Drive down nearly any major or secondary artery and you'll pass a fast food joint!

Plant-based proteins are catching on and slowly taking over the grocery store freezer section and deli meat case. And soon, we may be able to get mock chicken at the fast food drive through.

What is it about Whataburger fries that makes them so darned addictive? One chef may have stumbled up on the secret ingredient, and he's spilling the salt.

You might love them for their Cowboy Melt, or the Black and Blue burger, or just plain ole cheeseburgers that don't taste plain at all. Now Jucy's is adding new things to that comfort-food-menu-of-greatness like veggie burgers and chicken sandwiches, and they've got plans to open up more restaurants across East Texas. Yum!

With all the restaurants in Tyler and Longview, you could say that we are 'eat out' kind of towns! The two biggest cities in East Texas definitely do not have a shortage of restaurants or selection of food when it comes to restaurants, whether fast food, casual or fine dining.
