Mother And Son Chihuahua’s Looking To Be Adopted Together

Nothing is nothing stronger than the relationship between a mother and a son. From birth, they are always connected and this is true not only for humans, but animals too. Arya and John, two Chihuahuas that came into the care of the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas after being rescued from another animal shelter, they arrived as a 'bonded pair'.

As a 'bonded pair', Pets Fur People would like these two to be adopted into the same home and not to break up the family unit. It is believed that John is the son of Arya. Arya is approximately three years old while John is about a year old.

This pair of Chihuahua's would make a great addition to any family, especially one with younger children so they all can grow up together. Gayle Helms, Pets Fur People's executive director, says they are both extremely sweet, affectionate, and playful.

Arya and John will go home with a starter kit of food, a big fluffy dog bed, a collar and leash, and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm.
