Without a doubt, Mr. Yogi has seen a lot in his ten years and he still has a lot of love left to give. Mr. Yogi is currently living at the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler and is looking for a loving family to live with for the rest of his life.

Mr. Yogi is a Great Pyrenees. This breed of dog is calm, well-mannered, and serious. They are also known for their great devotion to the family including well-behaved children.

Gayle Helms, Pets Fur People's executive director says, Great Pyrenees are also known to be trustworthy, affectionate, and gentle. Still, if the need arises they will not hesitate to protect their family and territory. Mr. Yogi is a much larger dog, weighing about a hundred pounds. So, if you're looking to adopt and looking for an easy-going, fun-loving but serious dog when they need to be, Mr. Yogi is your guy.

He will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.

For additional information on adopting Cheyenne call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before a meet and greet can be arranged. Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
