Michael & Shawn’s Spoiler Filled Avengers: Endgame Discussion

Michael and Shawn are back with a spoiler filled discussion of Avengers: Endgame which opened in theaters this weekend. Based on the money it made domestically and worldwide, we're guessing there are four people who haven't seen the movie yet.

To back that up, here are the records that Endgame set that will have a hard time being broken. These are the domestic totals ending with the international numbers.

• #1 Thursday - $60 million
• #1 Friday - $156 Million
• #1 Saturday - $109 Million
• #1 Sunday - $84.3 Million
• #1 Domestic Debut Weekend - $350 Million
• #1 International Debut - $859 Million
• #1 Global Debut - $1.2 Billion

That's right, $1.2 billion, worldwide, in it's opening weekend.

Did it live it up to the hype? Oh yes and exceeded the hype. It was the perfect ending to the last 11 years and 21 movies we've watched. I like to compare what we've witnessed as a 22 book comic book story.

We still have Spiderman: Far From Home to look forward to in July. Beyond that, we don't know what Marvel has in store for us. What we do know is that it will be spectacular.
