Florida Officials Ask Residents Not to Fire at Hurricane Irma
I imagine the combined 81,000 people who are 'interested' or 'attending' are not all serious, but a Facebook event out of Florida went viral when Hurricane Irma hit the Keys.
In what is presumed to be a joke, according to USA Today, the details in the event are as follows:
YO SO THIS GOOFY LOOKING WINDY HEADA** NAMED IRMA SAID THEY PULLING UP ON US, LETS SHOW IRMA THAT WE SHOOT FIRST
But with that amount of people, Pasco County Sheriff felt it necessary to issue a warning to Florida residents not to shoot at the storm. To paraphrase... firing at the storm does not make it turn around, nor scare it. What it can do is create more dangerous hazards in an already treacherous situation.
