Could East Texas Become The Next Headquarters Of The Cryptocurrency World?

Nobody ever thinks of East Texas as the next "Silicon Valley" but when you consider hundreds of businesses have been moving to Texas over the last few years, its now becoming a reality that all sorts of companies are looking for new places to settle into the Texas scene and our area is now a quality option.

One of the world's largest cryptocurrency companies has decided to leave the sunny beaches of Florida and move their North American headquarters to the Rose City, in a move that has taken lots of people by surprise.

Crypto.com, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency wallet and trading website boasts 100 Million Customers.

Crypto.com was founded in 2016 and now claims to serve customers in over 90 countries. Most people (sports fans) know them as the arena naming rights sponsor for Crypto.com Arena, home of the LA Lakers.

According to Crypto.com, they established their North American headquarters in the Plaza Tower in Downtown Tyler, after a nation-wide search earlier in the year. They said this new Tyler headquarters can accommodate up to 20 staff members and has “the opportunity to expand.”

Dallas Was Under Consideration But The Company Chose Tyler.

One of the reasons cited for the company choosing Tyler was the talent pool coming out of UT Tyler. While much of the companies workforce is remote, additional job opportunities are expected in the near future, along with possible internship and mentorship opportunities for students.
