Johnny Football Lands With An NFL Team…After a Long Wait on Draft Night

Did you hear Johnny Manziel give Tyler a shout out last night on national TV?  Before the NFL draft in an interview with ESPN's Suzy Kolber, I heard Johnny thank fans in Kerrville and Tyler, and say he considers both places home.  And he's got lots of fans in these parts, that's for sure.

Johnny Football is leaving Texas A&M for the NFL, and in case you missed it, here's where he's headed.

The Cleveland Browns moved up 4 spots to snag Johnny with the 22nd pick.  Draft analysts said the drop to number 22 cost Johnny about $12 million, but who's counting!  If he had been drafted higher he might have made more money, but at least he knows he's wanted by the Browns since they scrambled to trade and get him.

Congrats Johnny!  I just might join that Cleveland Dawg Pound to cheer you on next year.
