What a week it has been in East Texas.  It started with an amazing total solar eclipse followed by days of rain and lots of rain.  Now it is time to dry out and hopefully, all of that rain will bring some beautiful May flowers our way! Looking at the extended forecast from the National Weather Service, we should experience lots of sun with some clouds and temperatures hanging in the low 80s.

With beautiful spring weather like that coming at us, we HAVE TO GET OUTDOORS and do something. Plant those spring flowers, mow the yard (because we know it's gonna grow after the rain), hit up a garage sale or be a part of the weekend activities that are happening across East Texas this weekend.

Here's a look at this weekend's event happening across East Texas.
