White Claw Releasing High Alcohol Hard Seltzer
To be honest I don't think I have ever had a White Claw. That may change this summer.
The popular booze brand will be releasing a high alcohol seltzer called 'Surge'. According to WTRF, Surge will be 8% alcohol. I didn't even know what alcohol content a regular White Claw is, until now - it's 5% alcohol (the more you know).
Surge will only be sold in single cans, no big. If you want a 6-pack, then just buy six cans, it's not that difficult. Flavors include blood orange and cranberry. Sounds to me like a splash of vodka would go nicely with each flavor too.
But wait, there is more - White Claw will also be launching a new variety pack. Customers will be able to try three new White Claw flavors, Strawberry, Blackberry, and Pineapple. All new flavors will be available along with a familiar favorite, Mango.
Are you a White Claw drinker? If so, do you drink the Claw because of the fact they are low calorie, low sugar, or do you just love the taste, or both? I love the whole idea of a low calorie alcoholic drink, it's just more often than not - I don't love the fruitiness after two or three of them. Maybe I just tried the wrong brand, and maybe White Claw will soon debunk my myth and change my mind?
Or maybe, just maybe, the trick really is adding a splash of vodka like I mentioned earlier? I will definitely give it a whirl. Cheers.
