Tie up your laces, prepare to run or walk for another worth cause on April 7, with the Tyler Run for Autism.

The 2018 Tyler Run for Autism will offer a 10k, 5k and 1 mile fun run. In its 7th year, participants will receive a spinner finisher's medals, t-shirt, swag and gratitude for participating in an effort to improve the lives of those affected by Autism.

The event will begin and end at Pollard United Methodist Church located 3030 New Copeland Rd. Registration for the 10K is $45, the 5K $40, and the 1 mile fun run is $25. Sponsorships are also available to offer a child with autism the opportunity to participate in the fun run as well for $25.

According to the Facebook event:

The Tyler Run for Autism began in 2012 with the purpose of raising funds to provide much needed Applied Behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the Autism spectrum in our very own Treatment and Learning Center for children with Autism here in Tyler. 100% of the funds raised will go towards the payment of therapy.
