(KNUE-FM) We all know that there are some dangerous drivers here in Texas. Some people choose to not pay attention when they are behind the wheel, but there was an incident that took place this past weekend that made me thing, this might be the worst driving incident that I have ever seen in East Texas.

How the Incident Began

My wife and I were in our truck with our two dogs and headed south on Toll 49 in Tyler as we were headed home. As we approached the exit near highway 64 close to Tyler Pounds Regional Airport, we both noticed a vehicle that was driving in the opposite direction.

The toll road speed limit is 75 mph, with a minimum of 65.

Dangerous Decision: Crossing Double Lines

The driver who was going northbound decided that she was in such a hurry that she would simply cross the double yellow lines and flip around so she could take an exit for drivers who were traveling southbound. At the time we had enough time to slow down without having to slam on the brakes, although it was extremely unsafe for everyone in the area.
