Nintendo Switch consoles and Playstations were impossible to find at the height of the pandemic, but the fact that gamers cleaned Texas out must have helped our cities vault into the Top 100. The #1 gaming city is a total surprise, and #2 is right here in Texas.

Looking around my neighborhood, it seems like people are quick to chip in and help if it's needed, but Idaho is getting its butt kicked when it comes to generosity overall.

Tyler isn't growing at warp speed, but it did make the top 200 list for the fastest growing cities in America. And two Texas towns made the top ten.

And there's this not-so-happy news that Texas ranks among the lowest in the US for SAT scores, so we gotta buckle down. There is one bright spot though.

We're not the best, but considering there are more than three thousand cities in Texas and 28 million people, being a Top 100 city might be alright.

If you have a really fun weekend planned, that might mean you're headed to Louisiana. One site says Texas is just a mediocre place for fun, but Louisiana is a Top 5 spot for amusement. Really?  Ok, why?! These "fun" rankings are based on several things, and it's a whole lot more than just your co-workers telling silly jokes all day...
