Corey Taylor is ready to put aside his mask and get back into Stone Sour mode. The singer and his group recently revealed the interconnecting single ‘Gone Sovereign/Absolute Zero,’ and now they’re ready to share it with audiences.

Stone Sour have revealed the first leg of their massive world tour in support of the ‘House of Gold and Bones, Part 1‘ album (due Oct. 23). The trek launches Sept. 28 in Phoenix, Ariz. as part of the Desert Uprising festival. A handful of North American shows will follow before the group heads to Europe for a number of dates sharing stages with Papa Roach.

“It’s gonna be awesome to bring the ‘House of Gold and Bones’ to the fans live. We’re all psyched to come to Japan and South America right away as well- they’re some of the best fans in the world! We gave people a taste of Part One, now we’re gonna bring them the best Stone Sour show they’ve ever seen. Get ready: it begins soon…”

At present, the tour is booked all the way through the Soundwave Festival in Australia that wraps up in March next year.
