This is one of those movies I've always meant to see. I sincerely meant to go back when it was still in the movie theater. Then, it was always near the top of the queue on applicable streaming services. But somehow, I just never have gotten around to it. So, this is an event I definitely do not want to miss.

The Liberty Hall theater in downtown Tyler is just such a fun theater in which to see any show or film festival. It's got an old school vibe and you can just feel the history when you are there, being that it is one of our delightfully restored East Texas venues. Because of that, it's a perfect place to see a movie like this.

Liberty Hall's event Facebook page describes The Greatest Showman as "inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation."

Everyone I have ever spoken to about it says it is a must-see. Hugh Jackman and the rest of the cast are stellar. On top of that, this is an opportunity to grab your friends and sing-a-long, which is always a blast. It's showing at the Liberty on September 27, at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased via Vendini here.

See you there. :)
