UPDATE: Whitehouse Mother, Daughter Found, Alert Discontinued

Good news! The Silver Alert for for the missing mother and daughter from Whitehouse has been discontinued. According to family, they have been found and are safe!

  PREVIOUS STORY: Authorities are searching for two women reported missing from Whitehouse. Texas DPS issued a statewide Silver Alert for Mildred Hightower, 83, (pictured above) and her daughter Virginia, who have not been seen since Monday, Nov. 26. Both have cognitive impairments that pose a threat to their own health and safety. They are believed to be driving a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, with Texas license plate DGV9496.

According to a family member, Mildred has gotten lost before while driving.

I have written many Silver Alert posts, but this one comes close to home because these missing women are related to a friend and former coworker. I pray they are found soon and found safe. Please share so we can bring them home.
