Popeyes Hiring 400 Employees For The Return Of Their Chicken Sandwich

The Calvary is coming to help Popeyes as one of their favorite menu items are preparing to make a comeback.

After a summer of controversy with the popularity of the famous chicken sandwich from Popeyes, the restaurant chain announced they will be hiring extra help as they prepare to bring the sandwich back.

According to Bloomberg, due to word of mouth Popeyes wasn't prepared to deal with the demand from customers and decided to hire an additional 400 employees which could be two or more people per store to make the sandwich.

Popeyes Chief Executive Officer Guillermo Perales, spoke on the hiring of more employees,

Our franchisees have worked to increase staffing.  We have been working diligently to bring the sandwich back to our restaurants soon, as we know our guests are anxiously anticipating its return.

Hopefully this will cause less drama in the drive through and people going on scavenger hunts to obtain this sandwich.

Only time will tell, but in the meantime oh I'm definitely excited.
