Chicken lovers are salivating because Texas will soon have its first Chicken Guy! restaurant. The chicken sandwich chain that bears Guy Fieri's name will soon have a location in Texas. The new location is one of seven that will be opening across the nation soon.

Chicken Guy!'s new Dallas location will be near Walnut Hill Lane and 75/Central Expressway in the Preston Hollow Village near Trader Joe's. The exact address is 7859 Walnut Hill Lane.

So what's Chicken Guy! all about?

It's all about the chicken. Whether it's chicken tenders, a chicken sandwich or a crispy chicken-topped salad you're going to get something chicken-related at Chicken Guy! Once you select your chicken style, it's all about the sauce you pair it up with. Chicken Guy! has 22 different sauce flavors for you to choose from for your tenders, sandwiches and even that salad.

While you're eating your chicken, you can also enjoy one of six Flavortown shakes that have been specially created by the Food Network star! Among the favorites is the apple cinnamon cereal shake. This shake features vanilla soft serve, Cinnamon Toast Crunch & Apple Jacks cereal and topped with fresh whipped cream.

Chicken Guy! is an exclusive chain chicken joint right now because there are 11 Chicken Guy! locations currently located throughout the U.S. The new Dallas location is expected to open during the first part of 2024 according to Culture Map Dallas.

Chicken Guy! on Food Network

In 2022, the restaurant chain was featured on a Food Network show called 'Guy's Chance Of A Lifetime'. The show featured seven contestants competing in an intensive, high-stakes job interview of sorts. Competing in a multitude of marketing, on-the-job training, managing, hosting, and competition challenges, the contestant who performed the best and impressed the judges and Guy Fieri the most would become the owner of a new Chicken Guy! franchise. I will not give away who won the show, but the person who won was more than deserving of the win.

While the first Chicken Guy! in Texas isn't in East Texas, once it opens next year you can make the trip over to Dallas in a couple of hours.
