Overton’s Fireworks in the Park is July 4th

Folks across East Texas are making their plans to celebrate the birth of the United States of America. Saturday night, July 4, will be filled with the many explosions of fireworks on the night sky.

Those celbrations include the city of Overton. They will be hosting Fireworks in the Park at the Overton Municipal Park Saturday, July 4. The fun starts at 5 pm with many vendors set up and lots of stuff for the kiddos to enjoy including bounce houses, inflatable obstacle course and water slide (bring their swimsuit). Food trucks will be there, too, with Kona Ice, Hit the Spot BBQ, Lupita’s, It’s the Bee’s Knees Bubble Tea & Pizza and Eat a Bite all serving their favorites.

All the fun leads up to around 9 pm (roughly) when the 45 minute fireworks show begins. Bring your chairs, bring your blankets, whatever you need to get comfy and enjoy celebrating the birthday of the United States.
