Happy Vinyl Record Day!
Today is Vinyl Record Day. They probably date back to at least 1877 with Thomas Edison and gang inventing the phonograph and such. They are warm and sound big and hi-fi. The idea is to preserve the records, jackets and whatever accessories that came with them as a sort of time capsule.
Vinyl Record Day is actually a group dedicated to keeping the record album thing alive. I have a pretty large collection of 45s. When my brother-in-law gets my old school stereo receiver fixed up with my old school stereo speakers my plan is to get a really nice turn table in order to play my vast collection of record things.
What's your most prized record you own?
