Hellyeah Streaming ‘Band of Brothers’ in Full
Fresh off their recent premiere of the song ‘Drink Drank Drunk‘ here at Loudwire, Hellyeah are now streaming their brand new album ‘Band of Brothers,’ which drops July 17, in full. You can listen to every single one of the album’s 11 tracks by clicking the button below.
The album is the band’s third, following 2007′s self-titled affair and 2010′s ‘Stampede.’ Hellyeah’s music has always been about the Friday night ethos – having a good time with a few libations and some quality, loud tunes. They’ve followed through on that mission with ‘Band of Brothers.’
When we spoke to drummer Vinnie Paul to get the world exclusive on the album earlier this year, he told us, “It’s about getting your groove on — that’s what we used to do. The first two records were the chance to breathe and expand and do something we hadn’t done in our past and in our other bands. When you meld guys from Pantera, Mudvayne and Nothingface, this is what you get. It just honks.”
Now is your chance to see if the album lives up to Paul’s word. Does it honk? Take a listen and find out. The album most certainly kicks off with a blustering bang with ‘War in Me.’ It sets the table and let’s listeners know that Hellyeah ain’t playin’. They’ve come to rip the roof off!
