Vinnie Paul Public Memorial Set for July 1 in Dallas
The fans will have a chance to say their farewell to late Pantera and Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul, as a public memorial has been announced for this coming Sunday (July 1). Pantera's social media revealed the details: the memorial will take place in Dallas, Texas.
The event will take place at The Bomb Factory in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas, taking place at 3:33 PM. The line for wristbands begins at 12N local time this Sunday, with no advance tickets being sold, lists collected or early lineups allowed.
Paul died last Friday (June 22) at his residence in Las Vegas, Nev. at the age of 54. An official cause of death has yet to be revealed by the coroner.

In addition to his star-making turn in Pantera and his most recent band Hellyeah, Paul also performed with his brother Dimebag Darrell in the band Damageplan and he also collaborated with outlaw country veteran David Allan Coe in the Rebel Meets Rebel project.
