This is the first Valentine's Day in a long while that I will actually be in a relationship. It's weird, to be honest, but it's nice to learn what it's like to be in a relationship again. It's for sure had a learning curve, too.

But I digress.

For the single folks on the day created by greeting card companies (scoff all you want, you know it is), hating on the ex is what the day is for. That's where the El Paso Zoo is coming to help.

You can go to their Facebook page, send them a message with your ex'es name, that name will go to a cockroach that will then be fed to a meerkat on February 14 according to cbsnews.com. This is has been aptly named "Quit Bugging Me". Starting February 11, you can see the names displayed at the meerkat exhibit. Then tune in to the El Paso Zoo's Facebook Live event, Febraury 14, 2:15 p.m. (CST), and watch the named cockroach get eaten.

Forget the old school drive thru wedding radio promotions, this is the greatest Valentine's Day promotion ever. I got divorced about six years ago but I would be more than happy to add her name to the cockroach pile and then watch it being devoured by a cute little meerkat.
