East Texas’ Top 16 Craziest, Busiest, Hardest-to-Park-in Parking Lots
Last year sucked. Let's be honest though, the one great thing about last summer, you know in spite of the worldwide pandemic, was that if you did go anywhere there was readily available parking.
Granted we weren't going as many places, but when ya did, boom, front row spot. Fast forward to summer '21, and that's not exactly the case today.
Now you go to Lowes, boom, drive around for five minutes trying to get a better spot. Head to Shogun for a delicious hibachi dinner, boom, you don't actually know for sure if you'll make it out of the parking lot alive -- but it's a risk we all take cause the food is so damn good and their chef's antics always make us laugh no matter how many fried shrimp we've taken to the eye.
This got us thinking, what are the craziest, busiest, hardest to park-in parking lots in East Texas?
We asked, and boy did you guys answer. We got dozens of answers from parallel parking deniers all across East Texas. Longview to Lindale, Tyler to Marshall, one thing was evident: wherever there are people, there are hard to maneuver parking lots.
And guys, this doesn't mean the business is bad. In fact, usually it's the contrary. I'll park blocks away from Stanley's and brave being run over by an ambulance on Beckham Avenue for a Mother Clucker, all while wondering to myself how in the hell did this wild-ass intersection even come into existence? Then go back the next day and do it all over again.
So here it is from restaurants to stores, old town squares to new town plazas, here are East Texas' Top 16 Craziest, Busiest, Hardest to Park in Parking Lots.
