East Texas Honors Those Who Gave Their Lives

Driving through Chandler yesterday, I saw an awesome display honoring those military service men and women who have given their life to protect our freedoms that we enjoy today.  The simple field of flags was an amazing site.  Watching them fly in the wind as I sat at the signal light at Hwy. 31 and FM 315 was though provoking.

Today, as you enjoy this day off with your family and friends in the lake, at a bbq or spending time together, take time to remember those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  After all, it is because of them we are still able to do the things we want to do.
