Baskin-Robbins is Adding Sour Ice Cream
Next time you hit the Baskin-Robbins location on The Loop you might have to pucker up.
What is it about kids' taste buds that makes them love sour stuff anyway? If you're like me you go straight for the chocolate, and if it's a chocolate-peanut butter combo ice cream you can't get the spoon to your mouth fast enough.
I've got a 7-year old that doesn't like the sweet stuff so much, and if there's any sort of sour option she gets it. I would tell her about this new concoction at Baskin-Robbins, but that would mean we'd have to go there, and then I would be forced to get mint chocolate chip on top of peanut-butter chocolate with a side of birthday cake ice cream, plus I'd eat whatever the girls left in their kid-sized dishes. So I'm not spreading this news further than this blog. But my kiddos would love this.
Sour Patch Kids Redberry Blast ice cream is available at participating Baskin-Robbins locations through the month of April, and it's made with red raspberry and marshmallow-flavored ice creams, swirled with a ribbon of Redberry Sour Patch Kids.
Perfect weather this weekend for a trip to the ice cream store. Oh, ok. We'll indulge!
