9-Month-Old Colby Is Looking For His Fur-Ever Family – He’s Adoptable Today
Colby comes from a large family. He has many brothers and sisters, but unfortunately he'll never see them again. They have all been adopted by welcoming families across East Texas and now he's the only one of his family left at the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas.
Colby is about 9-months-old and tips the scale at forty pounds. He is a mixed hound dog that is full of life. He's got a beautiful golden coat and cute flipped down ears and lots of love for you and your family.
Pets Fur People's executive director Gayle Helms believes Colby would fit in with any active family or a family that is willing to play fetch with him in the backyard. He will be loads of fun for some East Texas family.
Colby will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash, and a big fluffy bed. For additional information on adopting Colby call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
