Walmart will be open all day on Thanksgiving Day, to help a sistah out with all of the forgotten last-minute ingredients like chicken broth, extra black olives for the kids' fingers, and that magical cranberry sauce in a can.  They're open as a one of the country's largest grocers all day, but the Black Friday sales won't start until 6pm.

Most of the pet stores, office supply stores, and home improvement stores are planning Black Friday openings at 6am.

And if your holiday shopping strategy includes the internet, well that's always open.  And holy moly, the online shopping season will be huge.  It's time for that yearly apology to all of the delivery drivers for the nearly constant stream of packages.  We have no idea how you do it.
