East Texans will be celebrating the birth of our nation July 4th with cookouts, pool parties, friends, family and fireworks! There will be plenty of events around East Texas to keep families entertained for hours, from live music to fireworks, it's all here in beautiful East Texas!
March 2 is the celebration of Texas' independence from Mexico in 1836 and this year in Smith County, you can light up the sky to celebrate. Provided there is no burn ban at the same time.
