Renovation Projects Will Close the VFW in Tyler, TX for 10 Days

If you like to stop into the VFW Carl Webb Post 1799 in Tyler, Texas and have a drink or grab a bite to eat just know that in early February the doors are going to be locked temporarily. Our local VFW Post took to social media to let the public know that they will be closed from Wednesday, February 1st through Friday, February 10th as they have some renovation projects they will be working on.

If you’re not familiar with the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) it is a nonprofit veteran's service comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. Often times you will also find family members of service members at the VFW as well. It’s lots of good people that are always giving back to the community.

After the construction tools are put away, there will be a party at the VFW in Tyler to celebrate. On Saturday, February 11th The Frio River Band will be performing live and it’s free for everyone to attend. Hopefully you’ll love the VFW even more after the renovations are done.
