Tyler's Old Bed Bath & Beyond to Become a Unique Local Business

We've been hearing in the news lately about a lot of national retailers in Texas closing their doors. Red Lobster recently closed. So did Tuesday Morning, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Walgreens. Even retail giants Walmart and Target have had to close a few stores. But those closures also brought in the opportunity for something else to take over that spot. Bed Bath & Beyond in Tyler is one of example of that as that building will soon be home to a unique local business area.

It's no secret that we don't mind shopping at a big box retailer in East Texas. Just drive around Tyler or Longview on a Saturday afternoon and see how many of those parking lots are full or close to full. But we also have a love for shopping at a locally owned business. In East Texas, we have all types of locally owned businesses like car washes, clothing stores, electronics or appliance dealers, building materials and so many more.

Painted Tree Boutiques will be taking over the old Bed Bath & Beyond location in The Cumberland Village and is expected to be open either in October or November.
