(Mix 93-1)  He is now one of the most wanted fugitives in Texas. Trevor McEuen is now listed as one of the 'Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives'.

Texas law enforcement continues their search for the fugitive who fled after not showing up for his court date on May 5th, who also cut off his ankle monitor. There was a $10,000 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of this individual, but that has since increased.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott increases the reward for information leading to McEuen's arrest

Gov. Abbott has added another $10,000 to the reward that is being offered for his arrest. This brings the total reward now to $30,000. Both the Kaufman County Crime Stoppers and the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office have a $10,000 reward for his arrest. Governor Abbott says,

I urge all Texans with information on McEuen to call the Texas Crime Stoppers hotline or submit an anonymous tip online to help law enforcement apprehend this heinous criminal. Working together, we will bring fugitives like Trevor McEuen to justice. (NBCDFW)

Why are authorities looking for Trevor McEuen?

Trevor McEuen did not show up for his court date, and authorities are still unsure of his location. He is wanted on multiple charges, including:

  • capital murder
  • murder
  • aggravated assault with deadly weapon (multiple charges)

After missing his court appearance, law enforcement went to his home to arrest him. Officers searched for him in an area east of Grand Saline along US Highway 80. At the residence, officers noticed his ankle monitoring device had been removed and left behind. This immediately revoked his bond. Authorities then issued a warrant for his arrest.

Why was Trevor McEuen expected to be in court?

McEuen is wanted in connection with the death of a Van Zandt County man who was found shot to death by his truck in May 2023. According to CBS 19, McEuen was re-arrested for bond violations in September 2024 for threatening family members of the deceased and posting pictures of the family on Instagram, and that's when his current bond was set at $2 million.
