The Last Supermoon of 2020 Is Thursday, May 7th

It'll be a big beautiful moon over Texas tonight.

I actually noticed Wednesday morning that the moon was perkin' up. What we have on hand is a Flower Moon, so named for the flowers that bloomed in some areas this time of a year. In other parts of the country, it was known as the frog moon for the same reasons.

Since the moon is so close, you should be able to lean in with a Bacon Ritz cracker and get yourself a scoop of that delicious blue cheese that it's made of. Okay, that's not going to happen, but the moon will appear larger and brighter due to its rotation.

I know you've been stuck inside for a minute, so make a point to step outside and take a look at the moon tonight.
