Texas Currently Has 2 Active Amber Alerts For Missing Teen Girls
This past weekend cell phones across Texas received Amber Alerts as authorities in San Antonio and College Station are seeking help from the public in locating two missing teen girls.
Law enforcement in San Antonio is searching for an abducted 13-year-old girl while College Station police are searching for a missing 14-year-old.
Missing From College Station, Texas
The first Amber Alert was issued by College Station last Thursday (November 3rd) for 14-year-old Lauren Gutierrez. According to the release posted online at National Center For Missing & Exploited Children, Lauren was last seen on Thursday, October 27th at approximately 11 p.m. in College Station.
Lauren is a Hispanic female with brown hair, and blue eyes and is 5'4", and weighs about 150 pounds. She is believed to be with a person(s) unrelated to her that is more than 3 years older. Authorities feel she is in danger of sexual assault, serious bodily injury or death. Missing From San Antonio, Texas
Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m. law enforcement from San Antonio issued an Amber Alert for 13-year-old Joanna Luna. Police are also searching for 17-year-old Richard 'Xavier' Rodriguez in connection with Luna's abduction and disappearance. Authorities were also looking for a U-Haul truck with Arizona license plates - AZ - AE44935 - but that vehicle has since been located.
According to Fox7Austin, Joanna Luna has been missing for more than two months, she was last seen on August 20th. There is no known reason why the Amber Alert was just issued.
Joanna is a Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes, she is 5'5" and 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark gray t-shirt, black and pink Nike shorts, and pink and purple slides.
