We are all free to do what we want, but most Texans would not choose to destroy something you just paid $3,200 to acquire. I’m not sure if I will ever fully understand what happened at an auction in Texas recently.

The auction took place on Saturday, September 28th and a video has been going viral on Tiktok showing a Texan who proudly paid $3,200 for a guitar signed by the Pop Superstar Taylor Swift. He then decided to take a hammer to the auction item.

More Details on the Taylor Swift Smashed Guitar

The event was the Ellis County Wild Game Dinner taking place in Waxahachie, Texas. From the event officials it sounds like there was no bad intentions, but the person who purchased the guitar did so because he wasn’t a fan of Taylor Swift endorsing VP Harris.

These Events Can Get Wild

If you’ve never been to a Wild Game Dinner type event, you need to understand that the attendees normally have a few drinks before the auction begins which helps people loosen the strings on their wallet or purse. I wonder if alcohol was involved in destroying the $3,200 guitar. Although, the man could just stand very firm in his beliefs.

Want to See the Video?

It’s one thing to hear about a guy who paid for the guitar and smashed it. But you really need to see the video for yourself. I was able to track it down online so you could watch what it looks like to destroy $3,200.
