Instead of focusing on the negative, I rather focus on the folks who turned this into a positive and went outside and had FUN or helped a neighbor in need in the midst of potential chaos.
It dawned on me that perhaps some of the wild creatures may be struggling to find food when the ground is covered with snow and ice. Turns out, they are.
So...yeah...When it drops below 60 degrees, I'm blankets and hoodie. When it hits the 40's, or below freezing like it'll be for the next week, I don't want to go outside. I. Hate. Cold. Weather. And. I. Hate. Winter.
Nearly a month ago, much of Deep East Texas was under a blanket of snow. A major snow event dumped anywhere from an inch to 8 inches of the white stuff in the Pineywoods.
