This is a big year for Rush, who will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this April after more than a decade of being turned down for the honor. And who will be on hand to deliver the induction speech for the legendary Canadian prog-rockers? None other than "self-professed Rush superfans" Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters, reports the Cleveland Plain
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced this morning (1/23) the list of performers and presenters for this years Hall of Fame ceremony. Among the list are Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters. They will induct Rush to the Hall.
Current Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed has confirmed that the entire original lineup of the band will be in attendance for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony April 14 in Cleveland, Ohio.
MTV News announced that The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will soon release two new DVD sets. "The Best of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Live," is a three-CD collection featuring performances from artists like Billy Joel, Jimmy Page, Lynryd Skynrd, Aerosmith, The Who and more. It is set to go on sale on November 1st. More after the jump.
