The insurance website www.confused.com, has published a list of songs that might prove dangerous while driving. According to the article, "it seems rock music is the most dangerous music genre to listen to if you want to stay safe on the road." Making the top 5 on their list of offending songs is Guns and Roses, Paradise City.
Next month California auction house Profiles In History will include a rare Eddie Van Halen guitar. The battle ax is Eddie's 1982 Kramer Frankenstrat. There were only eight of the handmade guitars built. The guitar is not unique only because of the limited number in existent but due to its use on the "1984" album and during the Van Halen tour 1982-1984.
.38 Special will be at Diamond Jacks Casino in Bossier City, La., on Nov. 8. I had the opportunity to visit with 26-year band member Danny Chauncey on the phone. One of the most elusive things about learning to fly is LANDING! Airplanes are not particularly good ground vehicles so converting them from flying vehicles to ground vehicles when you land requires knowledge, skill and a gut observation of what is happening each time. The circumstances surrounding each landing is different. A lot of pilots view it as a challenge.
