Leave it to Texas to think of a really creative new way to get us up off the couch and into a race for charity. One Hill Country town is getting attention for it's .5k race, and that decimal point before the 5 is no accident. At about a third of a mile and ten minutes out of a Saturday morning, just about anyone can conquer this thing!

In the wake of any tragic event, it seems pretty instinctive for people to say they're sending "thoughts and prayers" to victims. But as some of the survivors of the recent Florida school shooting eluded to, that's not cuttin' it anymore. It's time to do more.
