Splash Kingdom Waterpark is on schedule to open their waterparks Saturday, June 6. Obviously, with the current pandemic, all kinds of precautions will need to be taken to ensure a safe experience. Splash Kingdom Waterpark posted a full message on their Facebook page laying what needs, and will be done, as they get ready to open.

In their statement, they state that, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), COVID-19 can not live in properly maintained swimming pools or hot tubs. They are also working with the CDC, amusement and waterpark associations and other groups to make sure they are opening safely. There will also be measures in place to ensure proper social distancing in their seating areas and around their food stations.

They also state that, given the proper permission from authorities, and with kids already out of school, they could possibly open earlier than their original June 6 date. Stay tuned to Splash Kingdom Waterpark's Facebook page for further details on their opening.
