The Lufkin Police is asking for help locating a missing elderly man.

According to the Lufkin Police Department, Moses Jeffero, 85, was reported missing last night around 6 p.m. by his wife. She told police she saw him jump the back fence of their home at 802 Rowe Ave.

Officials searched overnight, and thermal imaging from the sky and ground was used as well, but Jeffero has not yet been found. A Silver Alert was issued this morning after officials were able to coordinate with his doctors and state officials.

Jeffero has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatsuit.
