‘Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer’ and ‘Frosty The Snowman’ Return To CBS Saturday
Don't miss out on your chance to see America's favorite red nosed reindeer this Saturday on TV!
I, for one, look forward to seeing 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer' on TV every year. I somehow missed it the first time it aired on CBS this year, which was Thanksgiving weekend, but thankfully it's coming back on this weekend and this time I've got the DVR set to catch it for me!
Not only will 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer' be on Saturday, so will 'Frosty The Snowman' and 'Frosty Returns'! The special two hour block of programming will begin Saturday night at 7 p.m. on CBS. This is, without a doubt, one of my most favorite holiday specials that I will watch several times before Christmas arrives because it reminds me so much of my childhood and watching it on our 25" tube TV that was surrounded by the dark wood console!
After looking at a new poll conducted by The Hollywood Reporter, by far, I am not the only one that thinks 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer' is the best holiday TV special. Results from the poll show that 83% of the respondents had a favorable response to the TV show over all other holiday TV specials and movies, making it America's most favorite holiday TV special.
Following 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer' in the poll were 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', 'Frosty The Snowman', 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' and ' Home Alone' as the top 5 favorite holiday TV specials. Hard to believe that a show that is 54 years old is the most favorite!
