The life of a pop star might seem like a champagne-soaked, jet-set series of gilded delusions, and in Andy Samberg's world, it's precisely that.

Samberg, who impersonated pop acts like Aaron Carter, Josh Groban and Jack Johnson during his years on Saturday Night Live has kicked music biz-parody up a notch in the trailer for POPSTAR: Never Stop Never Stopping. The movie, which is set for a June release, follows down-on-his luck singer/rapper Conner4Real as he tries to recover from a disastrous album release and fall from grace, and in the trailer above, he's pulling out all the stops — and working with the better part of the entertainment industry — to land back in the ranks of Adam Levine & Co.

"My fans and me — we're in love," Samberg's character says at the top of the video (of note: Conner calls his fans Confidants). "The arena is our bedroom, and the stage —the stage is where we f---." A brainchild of The Lonely Island comedy group — which also includes Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone — POPSTAR also features Sarah Silverman as Conner's publicist, Bill Hader as Conner's official roadie and Snoop Dogg as Conner's official "Dogg Father." Plus: Pink, Will Forte, DJ Khaled, Carrie Underwood and about a million other people. It certainly does take a village...

Watch the trailer above, and catch POPSTAR in theaters later this spring.
