When it comes to looking for the perfect pet the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas just may have the perfect small dog to be your next family companion.

Oliver is a seven-year-old Papillion mix who is excited to meet his next fur-ever family. Oliver was surrendered to the care of Pets Fur People in Tyler because his previous owner had medical issues and could no longer care for him.

When it comes to checking the boxes, this guy checks off several of them:

  • Oliver plays well with older children
  • Oliver loves to ride in the car
  • Oliver loves other dogs
  • Oliver loves to be around cats
  • Oliver is housetrained
  • Oliver knows a few commands - sit and shake
  • Oliver is kennel-trained
  • Oliver's veterinarian needs have been taken care of

Pets Fur People's executive director Gayle Helms believes Oliver would thrive in any household because of his gentle disposition.

Oliver will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar, and a leash.  For additional information on adopting Oliver call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
